Wairua Lodge sits at about 13km from Whitianga and is about as perfect as it gets. Surrounded by unspoiled rainforest, the property is huge and gives you the feeling of escaping the real world. The wifi is limited, but you won’t miss it at all, trust me. Several hiking trails have been created to make sure the guests get to know the entire forest, finding swimming holes, waterfalls and relaxing hammocks along the way.
The wonderful hosts live in the main house and will make sure you have everything you need throughout your stay, even leaving you a great breakfast tray for the next morning. You can use the very well equipped communal kitchen to prepare your meals, and there’s even an enchanting outdoor bath! It will exceed all of your expectations!
