Gamz apartments have probably the best view in town and are meant to be a genuine declaration of love to the Dolomites. The majestic mountain scenery of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo trespasses the rooms from the large windows, and it’s up to you to decide if you want to go out there and have an active day outdoors, or take a time off and enjoy the fabulous apartment. For those wanting to stay in bed all day, we have great news: you don’t even need to get up to enjoy the scenery outside!
During our time in Italy, we felt that the whole Dolomites community has a serious commitment to protecting the surrounding environment. Gamz is certainly not an exception to that! The impressive new building architecture blends in perfectly with nature, and the beautiful garden is inviting you to sit outside and finish that book you brought with you!
We had the privilege to talk to Margit, and you can tell the special affection involved in this project. Everything was made with care and attention to every little detail. Take a look at their logo, which we’ve found so original!
The owners also manage other hospitality places in the area, including the restaurant Green Lantern where we had a delicious dinner on the first night – totally recommend it to everyone visiting Sesto.
Everything is designed to make you feel at home: from the cozy bathrobes and slippers (these last ones you can take with you – I’m wearing mines as I write!) to the comfortable sofa and practical kitchen. It’s that kind of place where you want to hang your clothes in the wardrobe and stay for a week. Especially after you get a taste of the breakfast buffet! It has everything to fuel your body and please your heart.
Oh, and our apartment had an incredible extra: an infrared cabin in the room! It’s a wonderful treat after a long hiking day, and we can only imagine how good it must feel after hitting the slopes during the winter.
While it’s true that the Dolomites have plenty of accommodation options to choose from, we guarantee you won’t regret staying at the Gamz. If all the above was not enough, Sesto is a lovely mountain village, close to everywhere you might want to go. We’ve managed to see the sunrise on Lake di Braies and come back in time for breakfast! And we even spent an afternoon in Austria (just because, why not?)!
Yes, the Dolomites are hard to get over. Even more, when you stay in places like Gamz.
