The two cabins sit at the foothills of the Dunstan Ranges, with breathtaking views of the whole area. You can tell they were carefully designed to blend in with the natural landscape and to have a minimal environmental impact. It’s amazing how you’ll find a lot of thoughtful touches and beautiful details in such a small space. The hosts live right next door and are available for everything you might need.
One thing you might need to take into account is that the cabins are about 30 minutes away from Wanaka, so if you want to stay in the city center and walk everywhere, this is not the place for you. However, we must say that this cabin was one of the highlights of our time in New Zealand. We got to spend a lazy day just reading and having some great local wine in the sun, while still heading to Wanaka later in the afternoon.
