L’and Vineyards – An architectural gem in Alentejo

Have you ever dreamt about sleeping under the stars? Well, in this award-winning five-star retreat you definitely can. L’and Vineyards is a well-known name when it comes to luxury accommodations in Portugal since 2011. And we were beyond excited to check it out with our own eyes.

We stayed in L’and Vineyards during two cold November days. Even though it was not the ideal time to take a swim in its stunning outdoor pool, the fireplaces scattered around the property were a fair bargaining chip. We actually had one inside our Sky View suite – believe us, it can level up your remote working days. Talking about the sky view, the big glass ceiling above the bed is something you shouldn’t miss.

The property is beautiful, and its internationally recognized architecture is nothing but impressive. The interiors are sober and luxurious – you could say that minimalism meets comfort, creating a perfect harmony. Knowing that this place is turning 10 yeas old, it is impressive how L’and Vineyards is still a reference in what respects architecture, comfort, design and style. We have found few details that need a re-touch but the overall experience was amazing.

We’ve heard amazing reviews regarding the restaurant. Even though we didn’t have dinner at L’and Vineyards, we had the chance to participate in their wine tasting that happens at 4 pm, almost every day . The wine was very good, and the cold platter made of Portuguese products was just what we needed. And don’t get us started on the breakfast buffet…

But it’s not all about wine and food. In case you’re looking for a place to relax and clear your mind, you’ll have plenty of options to choose from on its SPA. We picked a grape-infused bath treatment and found out the other marvelous things that grapes can make for us!

L’and Vineyards is like a love letter to the stunning landscape of Alentejo and its wine culture. And a one we would read over and over again.
