Miramonti Hotel – Unforgettable experience above the clouds

Before starting our 1-week adventure in the incredible Dolomites, we stayed one night at the exquisite Miramonti Boutique Hotel. We had high expectations ( I mean, look at these pictures), which were quickly surpassed. Those views are easily some of the best ones we have ever seen during our trips! The Alpine Spa retreat is located 1,230 meters above sea level, and it is an entry point to the South Tyrol region. It is managed by the husband and wife duo Carmen Kruselburger and Klaus Alber, who exhaustively searched for the perfect site to settle their business. Well, they have certainly found it!

The whole experience is nothing less than what you would expect at a 5star hotel. The staff is top-notch, and from the moment you enter the front door, they will make sure you have nothing to worry about. Get used to seeing people wandering around the facilities with their robes and sleeping slippers. That relaxing mood will eventually get to you, as you’ll spend the day switching between Miramonti’s pools, saunas, and steam baths. You can book yourself a massage, spa treatment, or attend a yoga class. Believe us when we say you’ll not run out of options of things to do during your stay! Everything is set to make you slow down, take a deep breath, and embrace nature.

The absolute wow-factor is the salt-water infinity pool. But don’t be fooled by it: the whole property is filled with wonderful details, and its architecture is incredibly well-thought. You can stare at the jaw-dropping views from your bed, from the restaurant, from the gym, from the SPA… let us put it this way: if you’re not enjoying a 180 view, you’re looking at the wrong side!

Oh, and don’t get us talking about the breakfast. Extraordinary doesn’t even begin to describe it – and we sure had our amount of great hotel breakfasts around the world.

If you can afford it, a stay in Miramonti is an unforgettable experience and definitely worth the money. If we had the time, we would love to have stayed there for at least two nights to enjoy everything it has to offer at a slower pace.
When you book it, can you (please, please) take us with you?
