Piece Hostel Sanjo is a great example of a hostel that can rival many hotels we’ve stayed at.
We’ve booked a double room, which was quite small, but you better get used to it while in Japan. The hostel is much bigger than it seems from the outside, with amazing common spaces for you to hang out. It even has a lovely rooftop, which is not that common in Kyoto. Everything is very stylish, and we truly enjoyed the character and atmosphere of the place. Breakfast was included, and it was quite ok, especially if you consider the competitive price you’re paying.
Moreover, its location is brilliant, and for us, it is the perfect area to stay during your visit to Kyoto. Jump into one of their rental bicycles and explore the beautiful city!
