Have you ever wished to explore your own city like a foreigner? Two weeks after Lisbon lifted the pandemic restrictions, we have decided to do just that!
We realized we’ve never got to experience any of the cool hotels or Airbnb’s in town, so we didn’t think twice when the Visionaire apartments invited us to stay with them and see the city as an outsider.
Well, one thing is for sure: you can’t get more central than this! (Can you spot the subway entry? It’s literally at the front door!)

Right in the middle of Lisbon downtown, The Visionaire Apartments features apartments, studios, and suites where you’ll find everything you need for your stay in the city. It’s perfect for those who wish to work remotely or those who enjoy the Airbnb concept but don’t want to give away some small luxuries and comfort. We really appreciate feeling independent and stress-free when on vacations, so the self-check-in option was definitely a plus. Nevertheless, we strongly recommend you to pay a visit to the reception – not only the staff is super friendly as the decor will blow your mind.
The whole place is inspired by the Portuguese World Navigation and aims to be the starting point to explore the diversity and contrasts of Lisbon. You’ll find lots of African, Asian, and oriental influences with unique pieces from all around the world.

Our apartment was large, spotless, and had a great view over Praca da Figueira. We didn’t get the chance to use the small kitchen, but it had everything one could possibly need! If you’re staying longer, they also have a common self-service laundry room, a library, and luggage storage.

Be prepared to be in the middle of the city, which means the streets can get crowded and quite busy. Other than that, It’s hard to point out a downside to this great place. We would go back for sure if only we weren’t lucky enough to actually live here.
